Welcome to the 2023 Season
Hello Fairway Farms Friends; let me be the first to welcome you back for the 2023 season at Fairway. I hope you have all had a healthy and happy start to the new year and are looking forward to another fun summer. I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again, there really is something for everyone at Fairway Farms Swim & Tennis Club!
I’d like to thank each of our volunteer Board Members as they have been working hard this offseason to make sure the 2023 season will be fun and enjoyable for everyone. Thank you to the membership for submitting your suggestions and concerns in the end-of-the-year survey. The Board and Pool Manager have considered all responses, and we appreciate your feedback. More information to come concerning Board-sponsored events this summer.
With the opening of the club comes another season for the swim team, and I would like to encourage any of our families who have kids that are not on the team to give it a try, regardless of skill level. Swim lessons will also be offered once again this year for those looking to get their littles accustomed to the water.
Now, I need to ask for your help! Fairway Farms Swim & Tennis Club is a great place for all of us to enjoy with our family and friends. However, preparing for this opening is not possible without the help of volunteers. Like our homes, it takes a lot of work to prepare for the Winter and again for Spring, and our club is no different. Just a lot bigger!
In the coming weeks, you will be notified of our spring clean-up dates. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am asking that you PLEASE try to make time to join us as we prepare the club grounds to open. Any amount of time you can help would be greatly appreciated. We are extremely grateful for the families who have come out in the past to lend a hand, but we need more families. So, again I’m asking you to PLEASE try to make time to help the club. The more hands we have, the quicker the tasks will get done.
There is a laundry list of things that need to be done and a laundry list of things we’d like to get done. With your help, we can ensure the club will be ready to go on May 25th. A signup genius will be posted. For every shift worked, each bond number will receive four guest passes to use this summer.
