Thanks to our April Volunteers!

Despite the weather (frigid, even snowing at times), we had a great turnout on member volunteer work days hosted on April 20th and April 27th.

A special thanks goes out to (in alphabetical order):

  • The Aiken family, for digging and painting in the women’s restroom.
  • The Anderson and Haddad families for digging by the grills and men’s room painting.
  • The Anderson family for help disassembling the north slide (in preparation for leak repairs).
  • Anthony (Tony) Arbini for painting the new steel doors – two Saturdays in a row!
  • Veronica Brumo, Clare Earle, Linda Keimig, and Lisa Vecellio for cleaning up the landscape beds.
  • Nick Carver – B&G alumnus – for installing a new chimney on the pump house.
  • David Dodge – always on site to lend a hand with the latest repair.
  • Chris Ray for plumbing work and overhauling the clubhouse lobby pedestal fans (new switches and re-painted finger guards).
  • The Stevenson High School Boy’s Swim Team, for digging trenches and hauling heavy buckets and boxes of chemicals to storage. Thanks to the parent representatives Heather Cieffetelli, Russ Keberly, and Jen McGruther.

Various board members —and, in some cases, their families—were also on-site to lend a hand and bring coffee, donuts, and pizza as a “thank you” for all of the hard work!

Please let us know if we’ve missed any details. Jason and I (Matt) did our best to keep track of who showed up, but if we missed you or a project you took on, we sincerely apologize. Please contact us via the Contact Us page to ensure we get your name on the list!
