Lessons will be available for children of all abilities and ages 4 and up. Our amazing Fairway lifeguards will teach the classes, following the American Red Cross Intro to Water Skills (Level 1) and Fundamental Water Skills (Level 2) guidelines.
In the years prior, we created a lesson program geared towards developing better stroke technique, turns & starts, and preparing for the swim team. Class sizes will be limited to provide a safe, manageable student-teacher ratio:
- Intro to Water Skills & Fundamental Water Skills: Maximum of 12 students for two instructors.
- Beginning Stroke Development, Intermediate Stroke Technique, and Advanced Swimmer: Maximum of 10 students for one instructor.
Classes will run Monday through Thursday. Registration will open and the registration link will be emailed out. The cost will be $75 per person which can be paid at the front desk.
