Our first work day is this Saturday! The gates open at 8 a.m., and we'll have coffee and donuts first thing in the morning. We've got tasks for all ages and abilities.
One of the major projects for 2024 is the continued replacement of concrete on the pool deck. In our March board meeting, we approved funding for the replacement in two major areas.
Building and Grounds (B&G) is well underway making plans for 2024. There’s a lot of work to do – and as always, the budget and spare time is the limiting factor. Please consider volunteering!
It’s been more than a year since our last update – actually, that’s only partially true. Regardless, we’ve got a lot of catching up to do.
We apologize for the lack of pool renovation updates over the last few months. Several factors contributed to the delay, some of which will appear below. Here is where we stand with the pool renovation.
Over the last two weeks, most of the work involved the demolition of the existing pool. As mentioned in the first two updates, demolition needs exceeded the original estimate.
Crews continue to peel back the many layers of marcite. To the casual observer – work in week two was very similar to that of week one. Lots of chipping and removal of material.
